KAL operates four King Air 200 aircraft, one based in Churchill, Manitoba and two based in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut.  The 4th rotates to the base with greatest need & provides maintenance relief.  Operating four high performance turboprops ensures efficient maintenance and flight crew training. These medically dedicated aircraft also provide unparalleled performance and safety records.

Aircraft are equipped with tandem stretcher securement systems, capable of securing two adult stretcher patients or one adult stretcher patient and one isolette. The aircraft carry over 7000 liters of oxygen, and include in-line suction, medical air and AC / DC power.
